Get Computer Name
When contacting the HelpDesk, you may be asked for your computer name to allow remoting into your system. This guide can assist you in locating that name through several different methods.

1. Click on arrow 
in bottom right corner of computer.
2. Click on green gear icon

3. Name shows in box that pops up.
1. There may be a physical label somewhere on the machine with the name of the computer.
1. Click on Windows icon.
2. Type in CMD to open command prompt.
3. Type in hostname.
4. Press enter on your keyboard.
1. Click Other User in bottom left.
2. In User name text field type .\ (period backslash).
3. Computer name shows below Password text field.
